Radnor Township will buy – or seize – part of Valley Forge Military Academy’s campus for public use

January 6, 2026 by Caroline O'Halloran

Yowza! Radnor Township just rang in the new year with a bang.

At last night’s meeting – their first of 2026, commissioners voted unanimously to take a first step toward seizing by eminent domain roughly 14 acres at Valley Forge Military Academy..

Why? To create a township park and build a recreation center to supplement – and perhaps, replace – Sulpizio Gym in South Wayne.

Main Line athletes, weekend warriors and post-op patients are all getting a charge out of the NEUBIE, the new-ish electric stimulator that Tredyffrin’s own Saquon Barkley swears by.

Only 14 providers in PA have it and only two are local: Christine Hayes Physical Therapy & Integrative Healing Center in Paoli and at Bryn Mawr Sports Rehab.

The incredible journey of Berwyn’s JP Weber; Why we lost Wayne Sporting Goods; Real estate rumblings in Radnor; Shipley grad’s ‘Wild Life’; Claytor Noone Plastic Surgery; Anti-aging medicine; Personalized test prep & more

JP Weber clearly remembers the day he died.

“I can’t go back there,” he thought on June 3, 2016. “I’m never going in there again.”

An elite loan originator for PNC Bank, Weber quit his job that late spring morning and walked, blindly, off a cliff. The old JP – people-pleasing, Percocet-popping, life-of-the-party JP – long crumbling, collapsed completely. And ever-so-slowly, canvas by canvas, rose up and pieced himself back together.

Pinstripe-suited Joseph Paul Weber was buried that Friday morning. Ponytailed, self-actualized artist @JohnHamster was born.

What some call a complete mental breakdown, Weber, 43, calls The Undoing.

Lindsey Renninger Schuster might just be the most photographed woman on the Main Line.

She takes multiple “mirror selfies” each day.

She stars in professional shoots up to 150 times a year.

She’s photographed incessantly on vacation.

Always camera-ready, she changes clothes five times a day.

No, Schuster’s not a celebrity, a socialite or even a model, at least not technically.

Stoga football hazing scandal settled: Players admit to harassment, nothing more

January 3, 2017 by Caroline O'Halloran

The football hazing/sodomy scandal that rocked Conestoga last year won’t be going to trial after all.

The three accused ex-players today admitted in court only to harassing their freshman teammate.

In exchange for that admission, the really nasty charges – assault, making terrorist threats, conspiracy, unlawful restraint, possession of an instrument of crime – were all dropped. (Their trial on those charges was to have begun this morning.)

And remember the DA’s vile account of what went down in the locker room in October 2015?

Well, that’s been dropped, too. Or at least radically revised.
