Main Line athletes, weekend warriors and post-op patients are all getting a charge out of the NEUBIE, the new-ish electric stimulator that Tredyffrin’s own Saquon Barkley swears by.

Only 14 providers in PA have it and only two are local: Christine Hayes Physical Therapy & Integrative Healing Center in Paoli and at Bryn Mawr Sports Rehab.

Legendary Eagles Coach & winemaker Dick Vermeil to headline Malvern longevity luncheon, ‘Aging Like a Fine Wine,’ hosted by Surrey

September 15, 2025 by Caroline O'Halloran

Looking to live longer, healthier?

Take a page from Coach Vermeil’s playbook.

You’ll get that chance Friday, Oct. 17 at an inaugural luncheon summit hosted by Surrey Services’ new Beilenson Institute for Innovation in Aging.

The Hall of Fame Coach will headline the program at The Desmond Hotel Malvern which is ticketed and open to the public. Vermeil will share his personal tips for positive, vital aging and field audience questions. (No doubt he’ll tackle a few Eagles questions, too. ’Cause you can take the man out of football but ….)

With her girl-next-door face and bouncy personality, it’s hard to picture Wayne mom Tracy Viola as the duplicitous, defiant drug-addicted teen in her new memoir, Pretty Wrecked.

But maybe that’s the point of this tell-all: looks (and smarts) can be deceptive. Heck, they help you deceive. You can be pretty – and pretty wrecked for years – but you can fool yourself for only so long.

Sooner or later, you’ll crash and burn.

Tracy hit rock bottom seven months after her Agnes Irwin graduation when, strung out and shivering with nowhere to sleep, she crawled inside an empty Toyota parked behind the Devon Acme.

The incredible journey of Berwyn’s JP Weber; Why we lost Wayne Sporting Goods; Real estate rumblings in Radnor; Shipley grad’s ‘Wild Life’; Claytor Noone Plastic Surgery; Anti-aging medicine; Personalized test prep & more

JP Weber clearly remembers the day he died.

“I can’t go back there,” he thought on June 3, 2016. “I’m never going in there again.”

An elite loan originator for PNC Bank, Weber quit his job that late spring morning and walked, blindly, off a cliff. The old JP – people-pleasing, Percocet-popping, life-of-the-party JP – long crumbling, collapsed completely. And ever-so-slowly, canvas by canvas, rose up and pieced himself back together.

Pinstripe-suited Joseph Paul Weber was buried that Friday morning. Ponytailed, self-actualized artist @JohnHamster was born.

What some call a complete mental breakdown, Weber, 43, calls The Undoing.
