UPDATED: Legally blind, brain-injured dancer helps lead free ‘Caregivers Connect Walk’ to honor their often unheralded work

After a devastating stroke at age 40 and a traumatic brain injury at age 41 left her legally blind and cognitively impaired, Malvern’s Natanya Sortland relied on loved ones and caregivers.

For seven long years, they drove her to appointments, made meals and offered inspiring words.

“All I want to do is dance again,” she told her aides and trainers as she sat in her wheelchair.

UPDATED: Surrey’s 2nd Holiday House Tour & Shops sells out again. (But attend with a friend as a sponsor!)

Last year it took less than three weeks for Surrey’s first-ever Holiday House Tour to sell out.

This year 800 tickets were gone in a week.

Five smashing homes from Radnor to Malvern will throw open their doors and throw on their Christmas lights on Friday, Dec. 6.

Prepare to be dazzled.

When lifelong Willistown Republican and 5th-generation farmer Bob Lange and his wife filmed a political commercial explaining why they wouldn’t be voting for Donald Trump in November, he figured a few feathers might be ruffled.

What he didn’t expect was an onslaught of harassment so pervasive and so profane, police are now keeping an eye on his property and the Harris campaign is paying for security cameras.

Federal Donuts & Chicken – the combo you never knew you needed – opens in Radnor

The Main Line has a new eatery to crow about: our first, full-fledged Federal Donuts & Chicken. (That donut-and-coffee stall at Whole Foods in Wynnewood doesn’t count.)

The super-popular Philly chain founded by Zahav-famous Michael Solomonov and Steve Cook, among others, opened its first suburban outpost in Radnor Friday with lines out the door.

UPDATED: Police arrest Uber driver in alleged rape of Villanova student in her dorm room

Villanova University’s safety office issued an alert Friday after a female student reported being raped in The Commons last weekend.

According to multiple news reports, the student told officials she was dropped off by her Uber driver who later entered her dorm in the Commons and assaulted her in the overnight hours of Sept. 13-14. The driver has been identified and barred from campus pending the investigation.

UPDATED: Sacred Heart Academy intruder in ‘mental health crisis’ apprehended, leaves Bryn Mawr school by ambulance

There’s an extra police presence at Sacred Heart Academy in Bryn Mawr today after an unknown male accessed the campus and entered the school building. In less than an hour, he was apprehended by Radnor Police and ambulanced to Bryn Mawr Hospital.

Nanny charged in drowning death of child in Wilson Park

Tredyffrin Police have arrested a 28-year-old nanny for “neglecting her duty of care resulting in the death of a 3-year-old child” Labor Day evening in Wilson Farm Park in Chesterbrook, according to an announcement from the Chester County DA.

Imani Lewis, 28, of Richmond, VA has been charged with Involuntary Manslaughter and Endangering the Welfare of Children.

Meredith Gaudreau, 31, is the second oldest child of Malvern real estate developer Ed Morris and his wife, Cheryl. She attended St. Norbert School in Paoli, the Academy of Notre Dame in Villanova and became a nurse after graduating from James Madison U.

After considering Valley Forge Military Academy, Cabrini and Eastern College, Yuletide’s father-son founders, Rob and Jes Bickhart, inked a deal with the last venue they toured: Union League Liberty Hill golf club.
