After 14 years, Louella is leaving Lancaster Avenue — the latest sign that even beloved local shops aren’t immune to a retail reset.

“Retail isn’t dead,” says owner Maria Delany, a veteran boutique operator who has also run locations in Malvern, Bryn Mawr and Cape May. “But when you have a lot of overhead like I have, you’re going to see a lot of stores closing.”
